Follow-through

I got up early yesterday and did the Wii Fit for 45 minutes. Yoga, mostly. It is deceptively difficult... and really kicked my ass. I am soooo out of shape. It is pathetic, really!

So, taking a break today, I guess. I am going to start the Couch to 5K program next week. I decided I am joining in on the fun with Leslie and the other sessy beeshes. Meaning, that in May, I am going to RUN a 5K! Ok, maybe it will kill me... but it probably won't! :)

Also, I am going to start the 365 Project for pictures. I always wanted to do it - just never motivated myself to actually follow through.

I want 2010 to be the year of follow-through. That is my One Little Word for this next year.

A new beginning...

Well, Christmas has come and gone. We were all spoiled rotten... And of course the kids were showered by all of their grandparents in addition to Santa and mommy and daddy.

I got a WiiFit Plus AND a Janome sewing machine. I am soooo excited to start working out once again! Also I have always wanted to learn to sew... And I hope to be able to figure out my machine with the help of one of my good friends! :)

I am really wanting to convert my walk-in closet into a crafting/sewing space. Maybe even rip up the carpet and use some of the extra Pergo flooring from the garage instead. I guess we will see what happens in the next year.

I want to re-focus on eating mindfully and healthfully. Exercising regularly, taking care of myself as well as everyone else.

I have this tendency to put myself dead last, so this is going to be far more difficult than one might expect.

Also, I need to look into getting my anxiety under control. This is most likely going to require some sort of medication. Weaning Ashley is the next huge milestone. I expect it to be 1000 percent more difficult than weaning Travis was for me.

Also, continuing to focus on minimizing the stress, anger, impatience that goes along with the anxiety issues...

I am hoping the improved nutrition, beginning an exercise program, and insisting on taking the needed time out for myself will help out greatly.

Taking it day by day... Baby steps... And hoping to do better, be better, feel better.
